i remember reading a Burial interview where he said he'd love to remix Mala's 'Misty Winter'. That'd be sickness.
Either that or a Burial remix of 'Bury The Bwoy'.

GOOD thread!
because i dont make tunes i all ways think of what i would love to see remixed, drew influence from or just played for a surprise at a big night out:
the two that pop in to mind at the moment are:
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Enola gay - loefah (i would love to see the orignal played at dmz one time think of the synthes on the system)

also ( dont laugh ) i think phill collins - in the air to night would work so well with a burial remix.
the original hits me in the same spot that alot of burial tunes dos

Amon Tobin's Ten Ton Mantis would be pretty damned nice. Some really great bits to be had by it I think.

Strafe - Set It Off
an incredible electro tune from 1984 with one of the most ridiculous arcade machine-style samples ever... just as you forget about it, it keeps dropping back in. And the singer even sounds like Mick Jagger in places. bizarre? you bet.
I dare anyone to try and better it. would be fun to try though.
I keep imagining it with the bassline from So Solid's "Dilema". I need help.
