I was going to ask about some Scottish hip hop too, this gets the ball rolling on that for me.
Yeah tons of Scottish hip hop kicking about (lots of it is shit though) Check out Reachout, Jay Large, Jee4ce, the Icarus, Mastersystem, OJ Loops and B-Burg.....I used to produce loads of stuff a few years back. Here's some random tunes of mine....

my twat of a mate has already got us tickets for the soundhaus because he "cant be arsed with a whole night of intricate bangers".
What does that mean? The Soundhaus has to be my last choice for NYE in Glasgow. Will be fucking brutal.

I know! As soon as I saw the lineup for Stereo I was definitely up for it but all my mates are wanting to go to the soundhaus - I'm still trying to persuade the ones who havent so fingers crossed.
Stereos the one Joker played at a few months ago isnt it? With the restaurant above it?

His new release on Rwina is lovely!
I had no idea he was from Scotland, I searched his name here after hearing Half-Man Half-trout. I love the synth on that track.

Whats going on up here? Alchoholism, Drug Abuse, Domestic Violence & Murder. Yeah, there's a couple of people making tunes, but they're actually all the same person.

Oh shut up, since I've been here everyone I've met is cool. It's not that bad as you people are trying to make it look.

So "North or East of central" is scotland? Give me a break, you got shit spots in every country.
I'm not the biggest scotland fan, but I am enjoying myself, and I have not met any asshole yet, just close minded people like you.

I produce as well, mainly Drum & Bass but have recently been playing about with some slower tempo stuff lately.
Heres a half-step track that Nebulus (Sound Artillery, Tech Noir, Critical) and myself made last year, forthcoming on Sound Artillery Recs:

Will post up some Dubstep stuff up soon!
Taz is my flatmate, he's got some wicked stuff dropping soon, particularly an EP on Numbers Records and his debut LP... gonna be phat!

I guess ye haven't caught on to the scottish sense of humour then? And yeah, i was only talking about Glasgow there, but now that i think about it, those rules pretty much count for any city.

On the noize and experimentals note, Id kill for a noise scene somewhere within sensible driving distance of the north american continent... but aside from cheezface way down in raleigh, were balls for it.
Experimental? You guys have Firebrand Boy... what more can you ask for when you even have the big names in chiptune??

Thanks man.
I've popped up one of my dubstep offerings on my Soundclud page, see what you think (although I'm more accomplished at the 'ol D&B).
