			both are balanced-- positive lead, negative lead, ground.  get whichever's easier to use or obtain.
TS cables are the unbalanced ones-- stay away from those as much as you can.

			my setup requires trs to xlr cables (soundcard out, control knob in)
as mentioned above, both are balanced
