I saw this commercial yesterday and decided to look it up. It's a commercial for the new game Bayonette but what I found interesting about it is that Skream's remix of La Roux's "In For the Kill" is playing the background.
This is the first I've seen of Dubstep being used in a commercial, I found it interesting.

Re: Bayonette Commercial features dubstep track.
yeah i saw this aswell, tunes like a year old so i thought it was odd to put it on an advert for a new game. i think theres other tunes on the game aswell, not sure whether they are dubstep or not though. games meant to be sick aswell
Re: Bayonette Commercial features dubstep track.
The few gameplay videos I have seen seem to favor a generic japanese pop sound. Oh well, the commercial is cool at least and it broadcasts here so that's public exposure to the sound of dubstep. It reminds me of when I was like 8 and I heard a D&B track on a commercial and I remember thinking "Shit this sounds awesome, I wish I knew what kind of music it was"
Re: Bayonette Commercial features dubstep track.
i tried the demo there was no dubstep in the game i think they just got a song with a female vocalist to represent bayonetta

Bayonetta's a very highly rated game and its been marketed excessively.
Not sure if it'll sell GTA numbers, but still, this is some serious promotion for the tune and dubstep in general.
