16BIT**NYC DEBUT**
(Boka | Southside Dubstars | UK)

With their massive debut EP 'In The Death Car' featuring the now infamous "Chainsaw Calligraphy," 16Bit have rapidly shot into the limelight. Their massively varied productions delve into every corner of the dubstep world, ranging from "half-step rhythms...shot through with 10,000 watts of current" to "glitched 2-step and sub driven riddims.” Their live shows are intense, to say the least, and they've seen support from Kissy Sell Out, Mala (Digital Mystikz), Rusko, Chef and many others with a constantly growing fanbase.

Hot on the heels of the Death Car EP, 16Bit have dropped their follow-up EP on the legendary Southside Dubstars imprint and a string of heavy releases including ‘In The Death Car,’ ‘Swine Flu,’ and remixes of Bogore’s ‘Foes’ and Skizm’s ‘The Blank.’ They played their debut set in Tokyo, Japan just two months after their debut 12" (PCP/President Of Europe) dropped, and have since played massive sets in Paris, London, and all around the UK and Europe. Welcome 16Bit to NYC for their debut performance!

DAVE GEE w/ MC DIGGADEE
(MethodsNYC)
Image

Dave GEE is quickly becoming a favorite in the NYC Dubstep scene. His party rocking style pays homage to the decade that he spent working as a Jump-Up Jungle DJ and promoter on the East Coast. Always keeping the dance floor in mind, his sets are comprised of dancehall inspired tunes and crucial wobblers. Dave works full time as CEO of Methods Clothing and simultaneously is holding down residencies at the Dark Room and Pressure parties in New York City. With a steady amount of out-of-town gigs coming up, this is one DJ you should make sure to catch when he’s in your city.

Diggadee MC Has launched from the world of Drum n' Bass and landed on planet Dubstep. Although Dnb will always be the main ingredient on Diggadee's menu, the Dubstep movement brings a more expansive range of musical awareness. Performing with many of the biggest names in Drum n' Bass from around the world, Diggadee has also managed to work with a few of the biggest names in Dustep as well i.e. Skream & Benga. As the two genre's seem to intertwine, the ability to vibe and adapt is necessary in an ever changing music scene. MC Diggadee, Diggadee MC...the spaceship has landed.

TRIGON & ESHIN
(Profound Audio)

Trigon. Rockin dancefloors everywhere with his intense, quick mixing delivery style of cutting edge Bass Music, this selector is most definitely a staple to New York City's stomping grounds by way of Miami, FL. His musical influences of Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Reggae & Miami Bass reflect on his diverse and solid track selection on the decks. With forthcoming releases on Liondub International, Basswerk and new label "Profound Audio" launching soon, this DJ is definitely one to watch for.

---

DJ Eshin first began DJing in 2000 as he began taking hip-hop tunes from his bedroom to house parties in the NYC area. Although he first delved into electronic music in 1996, Eshin did not start experimenting with DnB in his DJ sets until 2002 and hasn't looked back since then. Eshin made a big splash in 2004 by launching the eclectic Wednesday night weekly No Jacket Required in NYC with DJ/promoting partner Doctor Faustus. While the weekly finished its run a year after its launch, No Jacket Required continued as a NYC monthly event, bringing in prominent DnB talent from around the world, as well as NYC's finest. Today, Eshin is a fixture in the NYC drum & bass circuit and is currently collaborating with Direct Drive, which has been a staple in the NYC dance scene for the past 9 years, and had worked with DB's monthly soulful DnB event The Secret Night of Science previously. He also co-hosts NYC's premiere DnB radio show, Outside the Cube, which can be heard on prominent UK station Bassjunkees Radio. Spanning from melodic and dubby sounds to tech-step and jump-up, Eshin showcases the ability to explore multiple styles in his sets. Eshin has played alongside international talent including Goldie, Total Science, Marcus Intalex, Pendulum, Sub Focus, Klute, London Elektricity, Juju, Logistics, and Digital, among others. He plays regularly on the NYC DnB circuit at weeklies such as Konkrete Jungle, Camouflage and Direct Drive, and continues to spread his diverse sound in the American DnB circuit and worldwide.

This is going to be fucking MASSIVE. Been waiting for this for weeks. See all you kids there. Think it's going to be packed? I'm wondering if I should get there early. The show that Methods put on with starkey was awesome a few months ago, and it was pretty empty, but the place where it was was not a great as coco.
