Chinese influenced dubsteo/grime track... DROP FEEDBACK... AS USUAL I WILL RETURN IT!!! :D
i like this a lot, the chinese...thing \9i dont know the name!) sounds wicked and fits really well, and the bass has a lovely squelchy feel. the one thing i would say is that the drums are maybe a little repetitive (though i am guilty of this as well), perhaps add in some crazy percussion at certain points and such?
My name is Dom and I like making ambientish music and drinking tea. Nice to meet you.

I like it, only thing...the sample/synth you used in the beginning is a little too messy, i would try to smooth it out, otherwise pretty good tune

Hey guys, I am very very new to dubstep production and I have been messing around in FL and have come up with this so far! but the thing is that I am not even sure if I am on the right track so I am posting this so that one of you can hopefully guide me in the right direction for dub production so let me know what you think and what I need to improve on!! ps. It is a very noob track so far but I think I am getting it after reading lots of things on the dsf.

Sorry I dont have soundcloud..
nice start, your more or less on the right track. i wouldnt worry too much about structure (most dubstep songs have a structure unique to themselves) but since your just starting i would stick with 4/4 structure, its easy on the ears. any specific questions? Ive been producing for about 5 years now might be able to help you out. i would check out the production forums about eq and compression, as well as modulation (reverb, distortion, etc...)

Typed the tags wrong before:

Soundcloud

I know what I need to do with this:

Sub bass under main bass

Sort the drop out because it doesn't fit with the track.

Fatten it out more.

Anyone else got any other suggestions?

Thanks.

So I've been producing for a while [about 7 years] experimenting with different styles, and i recently discovered dubstep, so i figured id give it a shot. This is my first attempt at a dubstep track, and I used Logic 9. Any feedback would be appreciated. This track is a remix of Esser - Headlock (original track with video here:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHQCOkSGnKs

Your intro sound a little too muffled. I'd try and crisp it up a bit.
Your basics are really good, might want to add some sub-bass, but thats just me ;)
Might want a little more meat on it... (Bass or Glitches etc)

strange tune, very abstract. dont be afraid to drop the obvious wobble and experiment
cut the beat up some too

I like it, very relaxing, trancey tune.
I would personally make it little dryer (EQ) and maybe add a few bass notes.
But it could completely change the vibe of the track..
