@geeza: instead of writing just bollocks and screaming for more feedbacks, maybe you could first write a feedback. i'm not talking about my track, i'm not that hot on your feedback, but that's how it all works in here.. feedback, and you'll get one back! sometimes you don't.
then probably the track just isn't interesting enough to feedback.

bla.
anyway. let's get back to the usual thing. stop spamming
Firstly thanks for your feedback on my tune, that was a load of shit didnt agree with it atall but its your opinion so not gunna slate you for it, but thanks for taking time to write something it is apreciated (no sarcasm) :D

Secondly nothing Ive wrote is bollocks your obviously just hating for whateva reason and I dont really care and Im not screaming for feedbacks just stating that if your gunna download a 320 of someones work please just write a comment if you dont big woop but yeah would be nice

Thirdly I dont write feedback cos Im no good at it, like take your last bit you put up I'll review that now........ ummmm didnt like it :o I dont do feedback very well and I know you dont care I dont like it but thats all Id say about it so whats the point.

Im not looking for people to tell me they like my tracks im looking for advice on things ive done wrong and how to improve so thats why i post in here but anyway

back to the thread if you wanna pm to personally attack me then feel free if not shut up

and boom it all explodes.
i'm not hating on anything or anyone. all i know is, that people will never give (exceptions exist) more than they receive. one reason why communism didn't work. 8)
I appreciate your idea, i don't believe in it, and honestly: just do it if you want to. discussing it in here won't help.
now back to the routine.

i'll keep out here for a while, for knells sake.

peace and all that

wise man! :)

anyone can give opinions. don't even think that reviews of a not-bass-lover is less worth than a producer... just read my review, you heard knell.. just bullshitting. but i just say what i can say.
that's it. and you said it. just my lousy opinion, if this leads to knells position of being upset and not reviewing anymore. very sad! sorry anyway for fuckin' up the good vibes in here, didn't mean to.
peng i'm out. 4.32 in cheesy switzerland now. gotta sleep

i think this ones going on my EP, not fully finished yet, but what you guys think?

Right not gunna lie on this one Ive listened to it about 5 times b2b now and its still like listening for the first time in the way of when you hear summat then no matter what is going on around you, the tune is your full attention.

I love the drop in to the bass, its the sort of drop that when you hear it you spaz a bit, bassface on (a bit like the stroke advert for me) and gun fingers in the air.

Honest to god the tune got me on a hype and if this doesn't go on the E.P i'll gladly still buy the singular track.

Havent got a bad word to say about this, though Im sure my neighbours will have mwhahahaha

Cant fault the production all sounds really tight to me (Im far from an expert) but this gets a thumbs up

Hype Scale: 9
Bassface Scale: 10
Number of neighbours pissed off : 2
My rating : 9.5

Well done Sir love this tune

@miniweapon- thats a pretty cool tune, the bass you got in there from the main drop sounds real crisp and full which is great. Lovin that sub bass in the intro as well but Im not a massive fan of the wobbles that come in and out in the intro. Altogether though a very good tune!!!

Could you give mine a listen and feedback, tune called nuclear winter on the soundcloud.

@vulvavibration- your a cock for hating on knell who has reinstalled my faith in this forum thread :x

@knell- your feedback on my tune would be much appreciated :!: :!:

Seriously though, yes Knell you should start your own feedback thread if you think you can manage the workload it would create. I would definitely post in there - after all yours are the most sought after reviews in this section...

well then. that solves that. good call mate, you definitely know what the hell i was talking about and are not making a ignorant rash rook comment. obviously this "vulva" character knows best. thanks for giving this thread its well needed dose of trolling, you've inspired me enough to stop writing reviews, for a good long while at least..

cheers folks, i'll leave you to guys to your own accord then. no more knell reviews, no more " :G:", send PM to vulva thanking him for this and asking for his feedback..

im sure you'll prefer vulva's awesome super fantastic feedback anyway, with such gems as "humm maybe some hihats giving it a bit of a drive? maybe do a break or two..!" and the super helpful "hummm.... maybe someone else should feedback it?!"

should be grand, this swiss twat with such a classy name has obviously done his homework here recently.... i could use all the time i "waste" writing reviews in the studio working on mastering anyway

peace.

@LTUK- I really like the tune in your sig- its got like a nice chilled out feeling. The bass is simple but it works brilliantly and the cold sounding synth youve got reminds me of a SKITZ beats tune.

Could listen to mine?

i can understand why its like this, if everyone says "yeah listen to my track and ill give feedback to yours" then no one will get answered lol. then again if everyone posted feedback before they asked for it basck then youd get alot of people just sticking their tunes on here knowing people will respond to it, regardless of how much feedback said person gives. so its pretty flawed imo but weve lasted 140 odd pages so its cool

Burgle - Buzzkill

This track takes me back.... one of the first ones I ever wrote was called "Buzz Killer".

Im gonna "borrow" Knells format for reviews as its the best:

Props:
-The drum pattern throughout is really inventive. I love the way you switch between a 4x4 type flavour in the intro to a more standard halftime dubstep style in the main sections. The contrast between the beats is obvious BUT the segue from one to the other is seamless and you cant really ask for any more than that!
-1st drop is HUGE. Really throws you headfirst into the tune.
-The second drop is the better one however because you a better contrast between the two synths playing so the whole section has a slightly more interesting flavour to it.
-The hats in the final section sound nice and "airy" with some nice top end fuzzing about. Again this provides some nice contrast to the wieghty kick.
-Like the fact that it feels like 3 different tracks in one. Almost like a "prog dubstep" track at over 11 mins :) Dj's love tracks like this because it gives them loads of scope for creative mixing.

Advice:
-The synth noises in the first breakdown are slightly too high in the mix. I would try it just with the wobble bass on its own. No need to worry about this taking any interest away from the section as there is plenty of variation spread throughout the track.
-Airy hats at the end could maybe do with a touch more reverb to make them sound fuller.
-The length might be an issue. You could quite easily split this into two tracks (maybe a part 1 and part 2?) with the amount of cool stuff going on in it.
-Wierd ringing noise on the bass at the very end. Dunno if this is just soundcloud being shit though. Some eq should sort this out or a lp filter.

Overall:

Nice tight drum programming and plenty of interesting synth work makes this one a killer tune! Some slight tweaks to the levels of some elements and perhaps to the overall length as well and it wouldnt ever be out of my bag.

Good work bruv :w:

Peace

EDIT - I WILL GIVE FULL REVIEWS LIKE THIS TO ANYONE WHO REVIEWS THE TRACKS ON MY MYSPACE (IN SIG)

@JFK

Just heard 1000 yard stare and really liked it. Loved what you did with the sort of whispering throughout, really made the track and the drums kept the head nodding throughout.

You said on your myspace how you want to make more ambient stuff which I could definitely tell from this tune and it works.

This may sound a bit n00b but there wasnt enough bass for me to call it a dubstep track, it may just be my headphones, but as a dubstep track I was expecting more bass- just my opinion.

Overall though great song and good production values with levels and quality of sounds.

Nice tune man, like the variation on the pattern in the hats and the bass is cool, maybe just a little on the muddy side, and a little extra EQ could really phatten it up, but its cool, just a small observation, all in all a good tune mate..

Nice one for the feedback bruv. Thanks for taking the time to listen and Im glad you liked it :D

Yeah, Im feeling what you are saying about the bass. It on a very low frequency. I cant really hear it in my phones either. Knell said the same so maybe I should just nudge it up to 90hz (currently sitting at 75hz) to make it easier to hear on phones etc. Thanks man, gonna take that on board :)

Peace :w:

The Shadow - "Nuclear Winter"

ROLLER!! This is just my cup of tea:

Props:
-The drums in the intro and breakdowns are, quite simply, pure evil. Loved em. Are they different sounds from the main drums or the main drums just processed to fuckery? I would love to know how you did it dude. Sounds like you might have some reverb on the kick as well, which is pretty unusual but works brilantly here.
- The kicks and snares have a nice minimal feel to them. Which coupled with the rolling hats gives the whole drum track an irresistable rolling quality. Keeps the heads nodding till the end :e:
-1st drop is killer. Loved the way the bass kicks in and adds even more of a rolling vibe to the track.
-The high pitched synth stabs that occur throughout add a definate wintery, cold vibe (which was obviously your intention) and contrasts well with the rolling bass.

Advice:
-Vocal sample needs to be a bit higher up in the mix. Also it seemed to be quite dead centre, so maybe some verb as well to fill it out. It is a good quality sample and fits the vibe well so its a bit of a shame to have it so quiet. Also you could get away with having it appear more often in the track, like I said, it fits well and is a good quality sample so as long as its not every two bars or whatever it wont get monotonous.
-Bass sound was a little too clean for me. Some distortion to add some more warmth and it will be spot on.
-The hats roll @2:15 just before the 2nd drop could have been longer by a good four bars. The whole thing is over too quick for me.
-Needs more panning and reverb on the hats. Again they sound pretty central to me. Some panning and verb would fill out the track and give it a more spacious feel.

Overall:

Cant stop playing it tbh. Some excellent drum programming coupled with some equally good musicianship on the bass and high end synths make this a superb icey roller! A little bit of tweaking with the vocal and hats would just add the cherry on top of the cake. Good choice of vocal sample as well.

Cant wait to hear more :w:
