Numbers DJ, Jackmaster is in the house at FABRICLIVE this friday for the Numbers take over of room one. He's kindly laid down this cracking mix of bass heavy flavours for Dazed Digital, so to get you in the mood for his performance this weekend, we thought we'd send it your way so you can have some heavy tuneage to keep you going till tomorrow night. Hud Mo was alright, wasn't blown away... really enjoyed most of what I heard last night, got to say, all the Numbers crew sets I caught were totally fucking awesome. Loved Jackmaster dropping a bit of AFX at the end. Untold played a mostly funky set which surprised me a little. Great night though, one of the few lineups that could convince me into going to Fabric!

saw Joy Orbison, Hot City, D Bridge, Todd Edwards and a little bit of Shortstuff and Hudson Mohawke. need I go on!? :D

some quality music throughout but have to say there was some ropey old mixing about as well. hey ho. and fabric sound is a bit messy unless you're in the sweetspot.

Joy Orbison and Hot City on the old skool garage were the highlights. shame to miss Deadboy but kept forgetting when and where he was playing.

I had a horrible time, what a terrible venue/atmosphere. Far too many people, nowhere to dance/chillout.

I thought Deadboy and Mosca were awesome, as was Spencer. Left just after HudMo though because I just couldn't hack it. Seriously dissapointed I missed Todd Edwards but the place was just a total nightmare, and I couldn't enjoy the music. I'm just not cut out for London nights I suppose, although I had a great time when I travelled down for FWD a while back

know what you mean. people wandering around the whole fucking time and no room so they're just bumping past. now you mention it, does take it out of you.

Total cattle market I can't enjoy myself with people constantly pushing you out of the way

Sorry to be a downer, all the sets I saw where class, Mosca's set was unreal, loved how he played a bit of Jerk, and Nike is the one as well

Wish I had caught Mosca, would have loved some jerk. Oh well. Yeah it was busy but I found you could always drift into a good spot. Todd was so good.

yeah i'm with you man. was having a lovely time during deadboy but all downhill after that, once it started getting too crowded, and ended up having an awful time, every time i tried to get onto a dancefloor i was just confronted with a human wall and i couldn't hack trying to get into it. reminded me why i never go to fabric anymore. best lineup i've seen in recent memory but impossible to properly enjoy any of it. i'm not one for huge crowds.

That's why I didn't want to waste my first trip to London nightclub in years on Fabric. Tamping that I missed Todd in Bristol though.

Yeah Fabric is a horrible club. Don't mind it being busy, that never fucked me off, but the HUGE queues for cloakroom and entry did, as did massively overpriced drinks, arsey staff patrolling the toilets, arsey barstaff automatically putting my change from a round into their tip tray (retrieved in seconds, cheeky fucker), some shirted up wanker telling me to "get a haircut", loads of annoying trashed 18 year olds clearly there only cos it's the biggest club in London, some arsehole who took the piss out of me for making a bit of noise when Aidy's Girl got dropped, I could go on and on really, but you wouldn't get that shit in a club full of proper heads like Corsica

drinks are daft prices but i guess it's a case of the club knowing that a good majority of peeps are there on a special one off and therefore can be fleeced in a way u wouldn't your regulars ifyagetme?!

i don't get people whinging about bussiness cos it wasn't like u could'nt move u just need absolute minimal patience or too manouvere a bit. that only becomes a problem wen ur in a club full of wankers and friday wasn't full of wankers in the slightest. (not as far as ldn clubs tend to get tbh).

big set from shortstuff and hudmo was fun. jackmaster was ripping the shit out the place at six am still. proper.
also the idea that u got foreigners around who don't know the music is kinda cool with me cos at least they're discovering this shit played by pro's in a professionally designed enviroment.

i can't really comment on how good that was compared to other nites in that club cos i've only been once before, but alot of this music is pretty fresh/experimental/now (hence why we luv it) and is probably unfamilIar to a fair amount of peeps visiting that club but that night was a proper goood look as far as i'm concerened. nuff negativity already!!

really enjoyed fabric last week which i wasnt expecting tbh; not the kind of crowd i was anticipating after my one previous trip and was just happy to see that volume of people out supporting exciting new music.
Big up fabric for taking the risk of moving out of their comfort zone and everyone that supported by packing out the club on what must be the quietest clubbing weekend of the year.
