It's a good idea! Personally, however, with that vocal I think you have an opportunity for a much better buildup. It needs a bit more emotion IMO.

Definitely an improvement! The snare is nice and strong, kick drums are good, and that's a proper buildup. If I can add another comment, personally I would add more life to the wobble. It's a bit too clean for a Garbage mashup IMO. Garbage was a very grungy band, so I would perhaps layer a dirty synth behind the wobble while adding some reverb, etc. Throw some dirt in there.
