Dubstep DJs...

Post by basicanarchy101 » Tue Jan 12, 2010 8:13 pm

Why does eveeryone around the ole web say were shit?

I think its because jackasses think its all right at a perfect140...

Or maybe its because they like HHC...

Or even worse...

Gabba.

Honestly though, I tihnk between the breakbeat nature of the genre, the variations in tempo, and the space in the tracks, its one of the more interesting genres Ive mixed so far... Theres alot more can be done in the mix, like those bar-late tension builders to let vocal samples come through, or the keyless-yet-perfect mashups and cut betweens...

N no, this thread doenst leave much room fora response, I just wnated to bitch n say Dubstep DJs have more talent then harcore kids.

one could say that because dubstep often sets up the mixes for you, the DJ's don't have to be very skilled

Nah, seriously, we can make your shit tracks work. Just give us a second or two...

I actually like perusing the creative commons channels too find shit thats otherwise lackluster but with common element with another tune... It could have sick sub, but shit ends, well, it becomes our job to utilize and deal with it.

Its not that dubstep sets anything up for you, god, Jump Up DnB artists are blowin up... The Dj friendly formats just amke it a bit easier for us too focus our energy on the creative end of the art...
