Sorry, the Class War's Bash the Rich thing. He goes along to it and gives his support despite living in a several million pound house in North London with other property up and down the country. Don't get me wrong some of the stuff he has done as an MP has been brilliant but stuff like that irks me in the same way bono does telling us to make poverty history, it doesn't feel genuine and is actually quite counter-productive. I have a photo of this old anarchist I know, bloke in his fifties sticking a BASH THE RICH placard up behind Tony Benn who is eating his banana, it's quite sad, almost feel sorry for him.

Tony Benn is an idiot. How misguided can you be basing your philosophy on the rubric , "You must be a good person if you're poor and working class."

Wow, what a bigotted dick he is. Because as we all know, the only people that are allowed to fight for social change are those that personally require it. Before Tony Benn should have been allowed to stand up for anything progressive, he should've relinquished all of the cash he had at an even higher rate than he'd have everyone else pay.

and like any ism, socialism is just as bad as any other. in fact, i think it's worse as it begins with caring for peoples' well-being, and rapidly descends into the self-serving farce that is any political institution.
