Relax, this forum as a whole is quite healthy.

If you've ever visited drum n bass arena, you'll know what I mean. The posters on there make dnb look like fuckin 4chan anime porn or something.

Or DOA, I don't think it is even a DNB board anymore. You rarely come across DNB related threads on there anymore. It is the state of the internet these days. Stay offline if you are too bothered by shit like this. Seriously.

Surpass is making some ill sounding music. Is it Brostep? I'd call it dubstep. The term brostep reminds me of a bunch of dumbass college bros sitting around drinking bear. :) <-- beer ;)

I dont want to stir the pot or anything, but....

I did some further research into "Bros". Urban Dictionary states there are 2 kinds of Bros.

a) Frat house Bros
b) Dirt bike/ Extreme Bros

This brings up a huge issue for people thinking they like brostep... I mean I thought I liked brostep, but now I have no idea what to think!

Do I want to wobble it up with red cups and Izod shirts, or do I want to hop in my big ass truck and thump the new Trillbass shit on the way to my bros house to hit his 30' tabletop...

Can anyone tell me the difference between College and Dirtbike step?

p.s.
If i dont fall under either category but i still like brostep, should i call it something else? maybe I could just call it dubstep?

So much confused.

Thanks in advance!

I need to give a presentation soon about how genres and subgenres are first formed by fans within a certain scene and then the media reinforces this (There is an exact quote but it's along those lines). Almost tempted to use Brostep and how if the media gets whiff it'll become a genuine subgenre. lul.

Its the fans fault. Shoulda known.

But on a real note, I think that is pretty spot on.
