I actually emailed Chemical a while back telling them that this was wrong. I guess they still haven't fixed it. Maybe if we spam the hell out of them, they will get off their asses and fixes.

...and Dubchild's tunes are ridiculously good, for the record.

Oh, and on a personal note, I like most dubchild stuff, dead-upbeat. Not such a fan of Twisted, although he creates some of the most incredible "honk" basslines ever to make it onto wax, which is a feat in itself. But seriously, I don't think Twisted tunes were made for ppl to sit around listening to!

bro it's a condescending name made up on DOA about 5 years ago for the swingy jump up party dnb that was about at the time and it stuck. Nothing to do with the stripped down traditional formula drum n bass you're referring to. Just fyi

It soon came to apply to the Nu-School Jump-up style the labels these artists represented (RAM Records & Breakbeat Kaos, respectively) pushed following these releases, and thereafter other imprints & producers of the same ilk. Nosher was the earlier lesser-used adjective, and Wobble came later to replace Clownstep in common usage.

i always thought smelly was just a really bad breaks tune. heard it in a breaks mix like what 3 years ago and it really stood out. in a bad way.
