Doesn't seem groundbreaking though... I though it was going to be something about collaboration. Exporting to mp3 isn't that much of an issue :D

yeah I know. it's not that revolutionary at all. Eliminating one step in the finalization of a project isn't too serious :lol:

I don't even use soundcloud.

I'd really love to see them go into the collab direction. Massive bandwidth i know, but... :)

That's cool but not like I had an issue with bouncing and then uploading in the first place, whatever saves me a few minutes in a day?

Maybe I am missing something? Just seems like its a cross promotion scheme more than anything. I love live and I love soundcloud yet this doesnt seem very usefull to me. Save time? I am on dsl, I could render to desktop, covert to mp3 and upload normally before the wav would get there. I usually finalize in sound forge anyway.

Well, I'm not complaining. If they compress raw material right, (presumably they will) then that's handy for Live users.

just curious what you actually do to a finished track in a wave editor? normalise?
