i thought this was gonna be about breakstep sort of stuff...

yeah theres loads of half step dnb, check out amit - pirates, or kryptic minds - minor nine. loads more but cant think of it off the top of my head.

Not bad. I haven't heard Heist in a while but have dug his productions in the past. Don't get caught up in subgenres of dnb. I guess it is the reason dubstep heads are so reluctant... they try to come up with a new name and present it as if it is something totally new. It is not new but I dig the tune anyway. More half step dnb plz.

anybody can make up new terms... just ignore them and listen to the music for what it is. half time DnB is a good idea...

hmm I don't like this at all really. I do like some of the half time dnb that D-Bridge plays, some insanely techy minimal stuff, my jaw drops.

Sounds like fast dubstep but that song sounded a bit meh to me. Anyone got anything better drumstep or whatever the fuck its called.

Well this is from 99. There was a lot of half time stuff in like 98/99 this is the first to pop in my head. Lot's of stuff on RAM and I have a bunch of C4C records like that too.



Oh and you can't forget about Deadline
