question for london ppl

Post by a of dkr » Sun Jan 17, 2010 11:14 am

hi,
pls help me identify some advert banners i saw around london in my recent visit, i found them very interesting but i have the memory of a drunk chicken and cant remember what they were for.
so the banner featured overlapping pics of Obama and Ahmadinejad and it said "who poses more nuclear threat?" the banner was for some news radio/tv channel or website but i cannot remember it to save my life.

i also saw a second banner with overlapping pics of a policeman and a protester and it said "who is more dangerous".

:u: thanks

They're actually a rip off of this BBC News billboard from a few years ago that I can't find now.

Off the top of my head, I think it's the Financial Times.

Edit: It's not the Financial Times... I'd obviously read "RT.com" as "FT.com" when I saw it on the street!

RT?

I'm clearly too conditioned to seeing FT everywhere! Wonder if they chose that graphic style for that very reason?

I'm trying to decide whether I like these. A lot of them seem rather sensationist and alarmist.

Saw this one in a Tube station the other day... think it's my favourite of theirs so far:
