Kuduro - Hard Arse

Post by iag » Mon Dec 11, 2006 4:47 pm

Anyone come across this sound? I heard some bits a few months ago and just downloaded the galliano album.

It's packed full of bass heavy, dancehall style techno, with Angolan Portugese mc'ing throughout. I think it would blend nicely with Dubstep and grime, it's certainly got the bass weight and pace.

follow the link below, google or check itunes if your interested

heard about this stuff in Straight No Chaser, as well as the free brighton mag Fact.

Seems to bring the agression of dancehall to African music... and with an electro twist, it's all good! 8)

All about my boys Buraka Som Sistema.
Ajeita os colhões e vai lavara loiça!!!

Unidade Gráfica (me and Roka) are responsable for the cover design.

Ask Loefah, Mala and Pokes, they saw them boys in action in Lisboa.

Frederic is also doing a great job with the Angolan massive and spreading the word around the world.

Peace

Yes, I first found out about Buraka son Sistema, checked them out on myspace, listened at itunes and then promptly forgot the name and spelling. Does anyone know where I can buy a download aside from itunes? I hate the shitty DRM AAC's, either that or a CD?

Cheers
