Fucking great but kind of expensive... effects are great, echo, delay and reverb are great for dubstep.

Had mine about three years and it is pretty fucked up... buttons don't work, one of the channels knackered. Used it for loads of parties and I think it has drunk more than it's fair share of beer. Anyone know where to get them fixed?

Used it for one of our nights in Corsica Studios and loads of knobs got nicked off it. Youngsta was playing... I reckon he had away with them.

Dan you little bastard give them back!

Defo reckomend one if you can afford it.
Ditto that.

Like that granny in Running Man says about Ben Richards

He's one mean mutherfucker!
This mo fo I've had since they first came out n I've only JUST changed a fader for it, BUT this was due to someone putting it in there boot n my speaker hit it otherwise I'd say it would still be working.

Ive had my DJM500 Image
for going on 7 years now! Most deffinately a workhorse!!! Ive had the fader cleaned (but not replaced, since scratching on it and getting it cleaned has broken it in in such a way that I can CRAB ON IT!) and the eqs on all 4 channels replaced. It is do-able to fix the eq's but, Ive noticed that the replacement pots dont have the same curve and dont cut the bass quite as much. If you have the money I would step up to the DJM800.

Image

but then again if you have that kinda money you might as well go for this

Image

total integration... mine soon, if all goes well (although you can get a of other things for the price of it, Ive found used cars for cheaper...)

There's this bad boy too
Image

the elcer nuo 5 would be on my list if it were easier to get and fix in the states, but I cant find a dealer here thats not mail order, and I wanna be able to use the warrenty without sending it to spain...

hehehe, I had one of those for 5 years, and it's still my favourite "home" mixer.

the best one I ever played on in a club was the Pioneer mixer mentioned above, I must have played on one of those in at least half a dozen raves. oh those were the days...

the best part of this mixer is that it lasts!!!
I had 3 mixers befor I got my pmc05, to cheap ones and one technics mixer ...
They all lasted half a year, a year ...
My pmc05 still works nice after 6 years now!!! And its been to all kinds of parties, traveled on buss, train, airplane...
Been spilt beer on, been dropped ...

.spiro.
yup, no question, its the ultimate of the ultimate as far as workhorses and longevity are concerned.

while you people have boughten multiple mixers for whatever reason and spent all that money, i've had this badboy and it's made it rounds at college parties for the last 6 years. i've literally had techs go out before this guy (beer spilling).

it's been dropped, kicked, left out in a trunk of a car for 5 months without weather proof sealing during the wintertime, all sorts of crap. i'd throw my mixer down a flight of stairs right now and be confident that i could plug it back up and have it work (of course, the faders might need replacing lol!)

i thought the guy was unusable around august of this year, but low and damn behold, i sprayed a lil contact cleaner in the linefaders, hp xr and vol fader and replaced the xfader...bang, its fucking beautiful again.

i refuse to play on anything else, even the 07. if theres a houseparty and theres some dj's, i haul this fucker along with me cuz she's just so niiiiiiiice!

and was using my mates vestax pcv275, but the power transformer on that's just started making a nasty buzz so have had to allow that one for now :?

if i was going to upgrade, it would be to a rane ttm54, rane ttm56, rane empath, the newish vestax 08, vestax 37, or the rane ttm57sl:

^ This mixer is just sex with added EQs and faders, beautiful.

I've had my Ecler Nuo 5 for about a year now and it kicks just about any other mixers ass. The sound is really nice and warm compared to the tinny Pioneer. The EQ's are powerful and the knobs are fat. The effects are really cool and WAY better than any other integrated FX i've seen/heard, the extra crossfader just adds to the fun to be had. The amount of inputs and outputs is just ridiculous.

Ecler FTW!
