You're a credit to the world of electronic music.

dude! i've never taken a good look at reason before. you can see the backs of the devices! they have screws... the amplifier has a fuse!! that's so fucking cool... and so totally useless
live's WAY simpler... no flashy little art, you just click add return, then use a knob to send your signal to it..

Re: Inserts, Sends & Busses explained.
On cubase, I've figured out how to use sends in a simple manner, for instance adding reverb, delay saturation etc. to several channels at once. However I don't know how to send a synth through a send and have the send be the new signal. Basically what I'm trying to do is split the frequencies into bass/mid/treble to process them separately. Which knob does this?
I've been sending to FX channels
should i send to GROUP channels

Thats why I love reason. Some things mite be overcomplicated but it really shows you how things work

In the same way you have send/bus channels for reverb/delay, create 3 new ones with the appropriate LP/BP/HP filters and send your instrument to all 3.mmjdw wrote:On cubase, I've figured out how to use sends in a simple manner, for instance adding reverb, delay saturation etc. to several channels at once. Edit; I don't use Cubase so maybe I've missed something.
