i personally think its the best shit ever....nothing like it really.....especially on a proper ass system


most times when i fry and listen to dubstep i can see what wobbles actually look like.....each bassline and synth sounds has its own color....i can even see white noise and what sub bass looks like.....


anyone else ever get this????

and i know you fuckers are probably thinking this....i didn't listen to dubstep for drugs.....it just so happened that i listened to it for a while and then realized it would be insane to listen to on LSd....

The only time i tripped to dubstep was when Bar 9 and 16 Bit were playing in an underground venue which was really dark. I had a brief good trip during the intense phase and my come up was amazing. Time was shifting fast then slow, i could see the sound but the aggressive music got to me and i went onto a bad trip.

No-one had eyes, only black holes, their jaws were stuttering about then dropped down to their knees, i swore one of my old mates was a demon. Wasn't very nice. I'll have to try it again though...

By the way that was my first trip.

i can see the appeal for pyscadelics, but when it makes you believe in nonsense it sounds like it could warp your mind and your view of reality if your not careful.

it can change your view on reality....im very careful with my intake though.....anytime i sense a bad trip coming on i go sit down and relax

For the past 4 months I took shrooms (usually b2b methylone) at every event I went to seeing as I had an abundance of them from over the season (lack of anything non-bzp and mephedrone left me with no other option). Was pretty good, but as with all psychedelics in a club I always find it underwhelming. At home it's all enjoyable, but usually the larger the environment, the less that's going on visually. Nevermind the overwhelming volume of the music distracts you from any enhanced euphoria you feel, and larger rooms tend to mean visuals are cut down alot. Nothing really compares to the fun levels of mdma when out at a sweaty club event, 2c-b can come close since you can go from zero visuals to seeing someone's face morph in to a billion sided shape in seconds, but generally they all fall a bit flat unless you take anxiety attack inducing doses, in which case I'd rather sit down and chat bollocks rather than be at an event. I've found those high doses can often detract from the epicness of hearing your favourite tunes through massive systems since you can get too distracted and you often find out you've sat outside for 4 hours chatting to some stranger about who your favourite transformer is.

went to a new years eve festival here in new zealand (phat 10) with skream benga distance kryptic minds mala (who didnt show up) amongst some big big dnb names. out in the south island, some lord of the rings scenery type thing. so many people trippin on knee deep in mud surrounded by nature im tempted to give it a go at phat 11

in 07 at an open air - str8 lsd mixin , i remem i never heard whistla's ''merkaba'' the same again after this set

almost only dropt classic dubstep besides, all vinyl, as pure as possible

at times its a little overwhelming, but, that really just depends on how many hits you've taken i guess.
walls moving closer/farther away to the beat of the wobble is always cool
although ive never really taken acid and went to a live performance

tried this at low:fi in perth (AUS) and it was amazing. Excision's set that day was basically the best moment of the year for me haha. Could see all the sounds wobbling around the room and could feel the music itself going right through me

Agreed you can get a bit overwhelmed but I had a couple of pills as well to keep me up and away from anything scary.

Ive dropped acid/mushrooms at tons of events, generally it is not for the faint of heart, and I have had my moments where it was so intense i had to go lay down somewhere. For instance we were having a rave up in the mountains where I live and i took some acid and ate an eight of mushrooms.... bad idea time went into stop motion and I remember staggering back to my tent and laying down watching the milky way shift around then when I closed my eyes bands of color were snaking around one anotehr like fucking snakes.... It was cool, but I could not be around other people, also lots of people were asking what i was on while i was dancing cus i musta been doing some wild shit
