Cyberset Music is happy to announce the release of ‘SubTropic EP’ by Bird Of Prey, the EP includes collaborations with Random and Chillax’n/Helios, both of whom have been making a name for themselves in Psy-trance production and producing good ‘Psy-chill’ .
The EP delves in dubstep and drum & bass for urban influences and yet maintains a high level of cerebral stimulating frequencies and effects not commonly found in many urban genres, this ultimately produces a euphoric and ethereal quality to the tunes which also vary greatly in beat structure and rhythm. This journey is both stimulating and exciting.
Bird of Prey is the project of San Francisco bay area native Torin Goodnight. He has developed a unique take on various influences. His music is an attempt to hybridize various genres, fusing the swirling sensibilities of psychedelic sound with hard hitting dub and breaks vibes. Combining aggressive basslines, twisted leads, and colorful atmospheres to create a diverse and immersive soundscape. His recent success on VaporVent Recordings, many licensed tracks to compilations and now an EP on Cyberset Music has put this artist on the map. Bird Of Prey has quite a few surprises yet to drop on our unsuspecting selves.
