So once the tracks are finished what do we do with them?!!

So you have a hand full of tracks that you think sound good enough to send out to some labels/producers/distributors....

Is there a trick to finding IM's for Labels or producers?

Are you better off booking these label heads or producers to an event that you’re throwing and giving them your music personally?

If you aren't getting a response from anyone should you just start pressing your own stuff on white labels and cross your fingers for a P&D deal or a distributor to take you seriously?

For US producers how do you get your tracks distributed on the popular UK internet record stores?

I am curious to here from dubstep producers that have experience in submitting tracks (especially if they have been picked up) to a label,
Or from label/distributor heads themselves

You need to get the tune heard first, so probably the best bet is giving a 320 to some dj's you like (and preferably know well) and see how it goes down in the dance. It'd be a good way to get a reaction to your music and know whether it's worth going further.

I wouldn't advise going for pressings if you're an unknown artist without distro unless you've got money to burn, as you may not shift what you pressed.
Hmm....
