the rise of "wotdyacallit"?!

There's been alot of talk lately that seems to be trying (in a roundabout way) to pin point where this amazing scene/sound has come from and where we're heading etc.

Was just wondering if any of u dj's/promoter's/label peep's have knowledge of anyone who's been capturing this development on film so as to maybe be able to document and really capture the energy behind this fertile transformation?

I can think of many music documentary's that achieve this from various scene's and cities. I really hope this hasn't been overlooked.
