I wish he played more but he has played Hour Haus & Sonar (both in Bmore) within the last year and played at LODA (Gallery, Silver Spring) a couple months ago. He has a gig coming up Sunday, Feb 13th @ Modern in Georgetown. Sunday's are rough but some have President's Day off on Monday. Not me

I wish there were shows more often in museums, get fucked up then go run off with some stuffed jungle cats lol.

GLK is a good dj, its nice seeing a DJ enthusiastic about the music they're spinning. Saw him and Prefuse 73 two days ago and GLK completely carried the show, especially since Prefuse choked bigtime.

hey thanks for looking out in regards to the Go-Go info.!! :) shit's fuckin sick. Dubstep-Go Go influenced shit would be pimp.

for any Bmore/DC cats, any of you listen to Lorem Ipsum? Not Go Go but pretty sick still.

my little sister lives in VA right outside DC. she loves dubstep, and wants to come support, but DC is almost NON EXISTENT on the internet for dubstep. i had to dig through google for 30 minutes to find any information on dubstep in DC. the dc scene may be weak, but the promoters def aren't helping. dont blame the crowds.

a year ago nobody would book dubstep in atlanta. we started doing it, started our own posse, hit the streets, promoted 24/7, and now there is not a big act that hits the states that DOESNT come through atlanta. everyone from appleblim to skream has been here.

put in work.

THIS . ABSOLUTELY THIS . IF YOU BUILD IT , THEY WILL COME . thank you kevin costner's ghost father in field of dreams for that nugget of knowledge

DC Dubstep has been around online for like 2 years now: http://www.DCDubstep.com also, there's the main board for events in dc, http://www.buzzlife.com. we've had plenty of big acts, and the nights are properly promoted, there's just no draw. Headhunter played to like 15 people, and the promoter was promoting that party like crazy. work has been put in, nobody came time and time again, and now promoters are hesitant to drop money on dubstep headliners in dc.

you guys have a huge college town. GWU, howard and georgetown. instead of trying to bring people to the party, try bringing the party to the people. maybe make the nights as basic as possible to start. all universities have an events committee. you should try and see who does the friday nights at the local school bars. most of the big schools have frat and sorority events at their houses. its just a matter of networking and finding out the system. start simple and build it from there.
