TRG Appreciation Thread

Post by fairieswearboots » Tue Jan 26, 2010 2:33 pm

TRG is under-rated imo,
He seemed to be ahead of the curve in the recent movement towards 2-step beats & sounds, his sound has always kept that 2-step feel, but he doesnt seem to get the props that other producers do,
if you listen back to his stuff of the last few years, most if it is amazing and still sounds fresh now
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or4inPiJnA8 that track is never far from my decks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B2Y7nz327o and that one

still trying to track down Move Dis

Just picked up his new EP at half price at Dubplate.net,

any other TRG fans?

TRG's amazing.

New ep is wicked and his back catalogue is too good. Hessle 001 is a percy.

TRG is good, these tunes only further that.

I wonder why he's not bigger than he is really...

I said under-rated,

compared to the hype that some other producers get, I think he deserves a bit more (as his output is quality)

peace

audio - http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/se ... k=TEMPA048

btw I wouldn't use the word 'under-rated' for anyone that's about to release a 2x12" on Tempa.

I can't think of a single TRG tune I dislike. That Al Haca remix is likely my favorite, that shit is crazy.

TRG = Fucking greatness!!!
A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be.
