motor city drum ensemble
Re: motor city drum ensemble
All about raw cut 2 for me, that funky slap bass sound is the one.

Re: motor city drum ensemble
That sound is reminiscent of some of the brilliant early Recloose stuff on Carl Craig's Planet E records.
Easily Youtube-able.

Re: motor city drum ensemble
bok bok mentioned how he was slightly dissapointed that this dude's not from Detroit.
His names defo a funny one considering he's not from detroit and is a solo artist who would appear to be in his mid twenties no?!!!
There seems to have been a number of artists like MCDE, Traxx and DJ Sprinkles and even karizma who at times really go out their way to sound old skool.
Was just wondering wot some of u more knowledgable house heads on here think of some of these guy's and if u could point us in the way of some of the sounds/producers they're clearly taking influence from?
