Those are definatley mellow, dark tracks. It sounds kinda like they're missing something, maybe like a little melody or something? but that adds to the feel of the tracks which was prolly your plan. definatley a fan of the second one butht they both have some phat bass!

Yes I am making my tracks on around 120bpm, when I make a song I dont "try" to go for genres, make songs on tempos with sounds that I like, thats how I believe you "create" your own sound, they just seem to be closest to the dubstep genre 
.
