Pangaea - Pangaea EP

Post by ♫♪♫ » Mon Jan 25, 2010 7:16 pm

MP3 http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=248471

Just snagged this now off Boomkat. Absolutely stellar release. Pangaea never ceases to impress.

The melodies are lush, the beats are big, the bass is deep, and the vibes are chill.

Who's feeling this one?

I scooped 4/6.
I can't wait to get home and see where they fit.

BIG start to the week on Boomkat!! Those Jose James remixes (Joy Orbison) and Zomby remixes of Martyn also looking HUGE.

Just wish Pangaea put 'em out more often..

This! Absolutely love everything out by Pangaea so far.
A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be.

shame the sample on Neurons is so awful. it's such an amazing tune otherwise.

Sunset Yellow is a sick track. Love the general atmosphere of the whole EP.

I've always thought that, in general, a well written track will stand on it's own without some sample of something right before the drop. I guess it's just one of those dance music tropes that's not going away any time soon.
