All things in moderation...

An hour of proper MC bars

A couple of hours of toasting (Pokes/Crazy D)

A couple of hours sans vocals

Perfect.

that sounds about right, but i still wouldnt want it to be like that every friday, i hate routine! but as a blueprint to be modified each week its a good starting point!

its definitely jokes for a bit, and plastic with jme skepta is always gonna be heavy. But well not up for turning up to see a queue of youngers waiting to talk about banging your father out, and its not about MCs without a clue climbing all over Youngsta's sets- they ruin it. Unless of course they happen to be Pokes, crazy d or task

I remember when I was at school,
they treated me like I was a fool,
punish me for trying to act cool,
send me to a classroom facing the wall.

OUCH.

First time I go to FWD, I want Riko to wheel in a multi-tiered birthday cake and D Double E to pop out of it spitting Birthday bars.

Even if it's nobodies birthday.

hahaha... i reckon if u ask D Double nicely enough he'd do it for you..

anyway, people seem to be missing the point a bit... FWD advertises itself as a Grime & Dubstep night, but there's never any grime.. simple as that!

Don't get me wrong, i enjoy pretty much all the dubstep sets... i just wanna see more MCs spitting over grime, as it suggests on the flyer

slightly OT but someone mentioned Task earlier... erm, what exactly does he do??! seriously, every time i see him with youngsta he just smokes bare weed, looks a bit green and says 'yes youngsta' every few mins.. i'm sure he's a safe guy and everything but....

and how can i put this in a constructive way, we need our own mc's not the 1s from grime, im not starting this whole us and them thing again, but personally, i grime mc's are wel over rated in the most part, and sound pretty foolish, wit there nursery rhymes (not hating on them all coz i think skepta is taking the pis at the mo wit his lyrics and kano overstands flow!!!)

but all this

my names is d man
u cant test me coz i am the man
gun me and you'll get shanked up man

shit, is as bad if not worse than wot u lot 4t bout vapours rhymes, i bet more 4t went into his rhymes than most grime 1s, even if they were cheese monger lyrics

every1 has there preferences and this is mine, even the likes of youngsta want more mc's but DUBSTEP mc's who have flow that was written to dubstep beats not grime 1s

but agreed wit previous comments, always enjoy hearing newham generals, but for footsie personally (big up all crew who remember him from bass inject days) even tho i dont think he's that good anymore, just hearing him reminds me of my youth skanking out at the frisky nites ffrom years bk  :D

anyway im rambling
