What makes a good track ?

Post by widelows » Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:42 pm

Okay, in your own way.

I want to hear what you guys think a good track is.

My views for a good track is; placement of sounds, how the drums interact with the sounds, smooth transitions and how the Synths sound. (Fat usually gets my attention.) (Not fat women though, i try to avoid them at all costs lol.)

i could tell you what I think makes a good track, but it would probably take about 21 years. that's how long it's taken me to learn.

Im becoming more and more convinced a lot of good tracks are made by their hats, after all they are the indicator of the "swing." other than that its the sounds obv and the groove.

don't worry... there are millions of people like you in this world. they're mass market and the ones who music is generally sold to. they can't figure out WHY music is sick, but they know it is.
