Agreed.

How is it possible for two men with class to not like each other on a friendly forum like this? :<

Covering the late shift for some guy who wanted the day off for his 'anniversary' (he's not even married ffs).

Get in at 11, find out he's left untold shit unfinished which I'll have to pick up. I've been stuck in the datacentre since 11.30 building fucking fails of servers, not had any time for lunch and all while he's clearly getting especially dirty action off his lady.

There will be blood.

I don't really see how I am "claiming glory" with 'approved' being the operative word. I doubt anyone else has interpreted as being me claiming glory; Acroama certainly didn't and he has the final say along with those who have contributed to the mix. Maybe he doesn't know what approve means?

Anyone think I am claiming glory by having it in my sig, should those with the Haiti banner in their sig remove it too if they had nothing to do with a benevolent cause they approve of?

My computer being infected with some fecking virus. Just waiting on a disc so I can format the bastard and start all over again. Luckily I'd just finished backing up all my important files last week so it's not so bad, but still. I tried to watch something on Megavideo last night and all these warnings started coming up, found 32 infections. Did they come from Megavideo? Is that even possible?

You don't get viruses from megavideo, unless you clicked some add and answered yes if you wanted to install "FREE VIRUSCANNER NOW AND WIN 1 MIL AND CAR".

Do you have a virus, or is it some spyware fucking with your computer?

Do you notice anything except for what the scanner says?

What does the scanner say?

I'm serious btw, I might be able to help you :>

Cheers mate. I've not clicked on anything I shouldn't have, I'm pretty careful as far as that goes and I'm not into file sharing/torrents or any of he shit either.
It's basically saying a number of things, spyware, malware, worm, trojan, how my system could be hacked or hijacked etc.
Also I'm not silly enough to still be using it, I'm posting this on my mac.

Usually it is not that hard to manually delete the fuckers. Try locating them using your virusscanner, and delete them using a little piece of software called Unlocker (which lets you delete/move/edit files even while windows gives you error messages about your rights and what not)

Get Eset NOD32 too, they give you a full trial copy for a month and it's the best AV there is I reckon. Most viruses / malware etc. can be removed with out nuking your disk :)

What's giving you the warning messages, what software?

If it's the adware saying that you have all sorts of infections and what not, constantly giving you fake system error messages, just run a google search for the "anti-virus" software name that keeps coming up. You can normally find tools for specific infections to remove them. Had one of those about a month ago, was a bit of a bitch to get rid of. Rootkit and all.

Cheers, just gonna get one of my nerdy mates round at the weekend, said he'd sort it out. I'd rather he did it than me fuck around and cause more damage.
