Re: What did u listen to before Dubstep???
Black/Death metal, Neoclassical, Classical, Ambient, IDM. I like all genres really, just these are the primary ones. Didn't really get into hip-hop until pretty much until I got into Dubstep which is kind of weird. Though you can cut me some slack, I live out in the middle of nowhere in one of the least dense countries in the world.
Re: What did u listen to before Dubstep???
hip hop , reggae and dancehall , house , and some indie rock

Re: What did u listen to before Dubstep???
LOTS OF dnb, jungle, reggae/dancehall, ska, hip hop (the good stuff/old school), lots of house music - (Deep, Chicago, tech, tribal, minimal, jazzy), downtempo, metal, punk, alt rock ala jane's addiction, sonic youth etc., jazz, minimal techno, IDM, glitch, trip hop, old school county ala Pasty Cline, some indie rock/indie-dance stuff etc.. Whatever.... now dubstep and all it's hybrids.
Re: What did u listen to before Dubstep???
Dnb (dark,neuro) , downtempo/minimal
Re: What did u listen to before Dubstep???
I listened to Big H on the way home from work yesterday, and Lil Wayne on the way to work today. I feel so mainstream
hey, you wouldn't hire a clown to fix a leak in the john..so why do you let these hooligans tear down the biz?
Re: What did u listen to before Dubstep???
Always listened to DnB, Grime, Rap, Dance, Bassline/4x4, Trance...
Had hard dubstep for the last 2 years and never really taken any notice until the weekend just gone!
Spent my weekend in Manchester n ended up at 2 DnB / Dubstep events and had the best nights of my life.
Dubstep is now my favourite music, going to start DJing it along with Bassline which I already DJ.
