Yeah, just go to an audiologist. They have equipment and can give you a hearing test. They will make the mold for the earplugs and send it in.

When I first got mine, I had a minor bit of tinnitus because someone yelled in my ear over a soundsystem and hurt my ear. The ear doctor checked me out and didn't find any hearing loss and thankfully the tinnitus subsided over time. I just went in to buy the earplugs and I was grateful that the doctor gave me a hearing test for free.

As far as what you wrote above, I've never had an issue like that. Maybe they were just talking about the foam ones. You certainly do want to be careful putting them in and taking them out. When you go to collect your earplugs, this is another thing to talk to your audiologist about.

Earwax does buildup in there. The earplugs are hollowed out on the end that goes into the ear canal and wax will buildup in there after use. You will want to wash them with a cotton tip and alcohol after every couple of uses.

Any of these concerns you have, definitely ask your audiologist about.

Thanks for the information !

About your tinnitus, how long did it take before it subsided?

indeed, i will talk to him about how to put them in and take it out, am sure they explain it as well.

While where on the note of cotton, and clearing. I keep seeing everywhere that using a cotton bud to clean your ear after a shower is a NO NO! ?? Whats that all about? so how do you clear your ears then ? Yes a centain about of earwax is good for you but it need cleaning does it not?

Thanks once again, i must sort out a appointment. Do you use ring them and say can i have a appointment for moles for my ears to ear plugs? are they like doctors but in the sense is sound wise?
A brand new song!
