That's a different Hans Zimmer - in fact, that's a kind of generic name in German-speaking countries.This Hans Zimmer was born in '57, so could not have been decorated by the 3rd reich. Plus [the composer Zimmer] scored "A World Apart," which was an anti-apartheid movie...

And you don't have to be a Mason to appreciate skulls! Maybe they're actually vaporizers or bongs cleverly disguised to look like skulls. You know those wacky Krauts and their skull-bongs....
