Funafuji, is SA's Queen of Dubstep, and has claimed the flag down South and leads the Dubstep revolution from the fertile sonic soil of Cape Town.

Funafuji’s love... of the genre means that her sets are a tapestry…. Evocative subsonics, minimal growls, beautiful melodies, splintered beats and of course rib-rattling bass are all features of the sound that makes her one of South Africa’s most diverse and best Dubstep DJs.

She has also become one of the hardest working ladies in showbiz, playing across Cape Town and expanding on her party skills to introduce nights such as the monthly Bassland at Mercury Live. Her sound outside of the Step Up dance-floor often moves away from just Dubstep to include Drum n Bass, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Funk-Soul and local Glitch-Hop.

Make sure you Step up to the dancefloor as Funafuji brings her unique style of Dubstep pressure…..
