rinseballs there are alot of academic writings out there about race and class and music making. i remember i once read something interesting; i think in reference to jungle, about how alot of black music is perceived to be alot more earthy and with a human touch where as white dance music is devoid of that "human touch" (for reasons i cant quite be bothered to go into cos its long), but basically if ur interested in that shit do ur research cos i dont think ull get much intellectual debate on DSF

What I would say is that the Bigger names in Deeper Based dubstep tend to be black (digi's, benga etc.) whereas the bigger names writing Ravier, jump up styles tend to be white (rusko, caspa etc.) That is as far as i would go!
