Bringing him back to Manchester for the 2nd time (we first put him on in September at our Vs night with Open Plan) Slugabed is the Daddy. At the meager age of 21, his productions are mind blowing, filthy as fuck beats with spaced out synth's and a squelch only he can pull off, Sluga packs a weighty punch. After the awesome Gritsalt/Lets go swimming 12" this year, he also put out a remix of La Roux and his SICK remix of Pharoh Monch's Simon says which has been getting plays of all the big boys in the states. LOOPS HAUNT (Blackacre) Live *MANCHESTER DEBUT*
Never have we had such anticipation for a release than off this man. Hailing from Dundee, Loops Haunt is what we really mean by "pushing the envelope". Taking influence from a lot of Upfront electronic music, loops twists it through lots of old hardware and new software and creates a spacey, yet driving sound that needs to be heard. Having recently played with APHEX TWIN & at the LUCKY ME parties in Glasgow, his debut E.P is due to drop in January on the sweet . We are super proud to bring him to Manchester for the first time.

ILLUM SPHERE (Hoya Hoya / Fat City)
If you haven't seen him at Hoya Hoya at the Roadhouse on the last Saturday of the month, what the fuck is wrong with you? His latest E.P, long live the plan, is due to drop in Jauary on the Manchester Hip Hop institution that is Fat City Records and is geting championed by the likes of MARY ANN HOBBS, GASLAMP KILLER etc as well a recent remixes for GLK & MARTYN. He's played at Low End Theory in L.A, and brought pretty much every awesome Beat producer to Manchester for the first time. Expect plenty of fresh beats.
