lol shit man

but I havent smoked a ciggy in 2 days....completely random. and in the past year and a half-two years the feeling of extreme paranoia and self-consciousness that comes with bunnin piffs was enough to make me cut down drastically. like a spliff a month if that even.

I managed to go 5 months or something one time. Was in a different country and tried to "reinvent" myself. Ironically my drinking went up 200% during that time :(

I know it means something different to you guys in the UK, but every time you talk about "smoking cigarettes" all the Americans reading have a little giggle. Like when women say they're going to go get a facial.

I've heard of it, but only because I'm an American that's into British culture somehat.

Otherwise, you'll never hear someone say that in the states. Over here "cigarette" means one thing and one thing only: a homosexual.

The words "bum," "homosexual," and "stranger" in one sentence have a faint hint of menace...

Wait... you want what now?!

I only smoke more then 5 during the weekends when i'm at friends or if i'm out. I'm doing it like this for almost 3 years now and i haven't got any problems

edit: the point i'm trying to make is, that why do people have to either smoke 25 a day or quit 100%. Why not find a golden midway, a bit of balance. Just smoke a few cigs a day. don't exagerate. And if you feel that your smoking too much lately quit for a little week just to show yourself who's in control. (wtf?). This maybe sounds stupid but personally i don't smoke out of addiction but because i like to smoke. You have something to do. inhaling and exhaling smoke is fun and it looks funky.
Guessing you haven't smoked for long?

you smoke because it looks "funky". what are you like, 12? also, anyone who smokes for 3 years and isnt addicted isnt doing it right. i've gone a month so far and its the best thing i've ever done.

I weened myself off them by spreading a pack over two weeks. haven't had one in more than a week now. everytime I think I want one something says "no....no you do not want one"

thought it would be hard when drinking but it actually went very well. Still avoiding coffee though...too synonymous with smokes.

it's been a fortnight since i had a cigarette. one of the best things i have ever done. go for a run, do some weights, have a shower and finish it with a cup of tea. feels better than coughing my lungs up. and my clothes smell better,
