good work mate, tight production, the only thing id suggest is its very straight rhythmically, maybe try and quantise a little swing into it

Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.
i like that alot
sample is huge
only thing id change is have a little variation on drums and the snare needs bringing up a bit i think.
still big though
Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

Thanks man! That's what I was thinking... especially since the "second chorus" still is the exact same 32 bars over again.deadnoisesystem wrote:that is sick, love that twisted piano melody, production is nice an clean tooAbstrym wrote:Soundcloud

just need a little more variation and a mastering and youll be sweet
Really nice atmosphere going on here! Lots of reverb but it comes across nicely... the drums are a bit glitchy at the end of the segment (1:24, 2:20 and so on), but other than that I don't know what I'd improve, actually. Except; get it mastered, man.
Haha, thanks! Nice idea, may try how that sounds. But do you really think the snare needs more power? It's already processed like fuck and sounds fine (except for some EQing) to me...mars wrote:omg that's a dooooooooooope idea!Abstrym wrote:Soundcloud

here's what u could do... as ur about to drop the synth, stop the piano and put 4 bars of buildup. us some sort of sweep or get a synth to glide upwards... then drop the BIG synth with the drums, but layer them with more snares and eq them (don't just use one snare sample, use 2-3, until u have a nice snare going). then, after playing the synth melody for a bit, re-introduce the piano on top of the synth.
this could be nice and dirty with a couple more hours of work!
cheers!
Fat! Feels like the drums are missing something, though... maybe add some more SFX and cymbals

Hi, Im Maddoc.
Im pretty new to producing music and even more new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself with this
little piece of music which I hope you enjoy. Constructive criticism is what im up for.
Thanks.

Good effort for starting up. You seem to have a good understanding of your beat programming, alot better than I did when I started out anyway. Now for the constructive part, Id give that clubby kick at the start some treatment it's very..."Whomph Whomph" bit of a tail, ya know, but you could be going for that so by all means, and possibly give the bass/vocals a bit more room to breathe in the later part.
Tune jay, different. Im a little curious what that pass is peaking at from 1m onwards?

Loving the drums, real quality and effort put into those, and it shows, very nice.mars wrote:Hey Everyone!

Now a favor for me, I've been banging my head against this tune all weekend trying to get something that fits rolling. I've uploaded 3 versions, each with different changes.

Will comment on the waveform too, but nice intro, relaxing bass, would do well in a chillout mix, deadly habit wrote:Soundcloud
