sorry if this is a double post. Just lost my original answer.
Etymotic ER6i. Just got these the other day. Very happy. At first, I missed the bass of the Bose Triports I've been wearing on the train everyday for the past 6+ yrs. But then I began to appreciate hearing the unhyped low end. These are very flat and detailed. Check out the frequency response graph at headphone.com. And generally, see the information at head-fi.

steer clear of sennheiser hd25's, they have to resort to trolling forums with mis information to sell their products.

They did... I tried too explain what a non-flat frequency response was... THE HORROR!!! THE FUCKING HORROR!!!
AKGs are nice though, my buddy had a set for a long time, youll sell em and upgrade before they break.
