First Dubstep Mix! 14/02/1010 - Stream/Download

Post by Spirez » Mon Feb 15, 2010 1:05 am

Haven't recorded a mix in years and have finally got back into using my gear so it's a little bit rusty.

The first track's also a bit louder than the rest even though i normalized it and my meters were all the same level in Serato

But overall i'm quite happy with it but would really appreciate some feedback!

Sorry, link is now fixed!

I'm just having a listen back now. Some of the beatmatching is shoddy and the transitions need work but it can only get better... I hope!

On the transition, should i just cut the old track out as soon as the new one drops?

I think in places i try to mix it like it's house music with the outgoing track still playing in the background but maybe this genre isn't suited too well to that?
