I hear you there! Just added a CDJ800 to my setup and it takes a bit of getting used to switching between the two.

Yea of course, tune selection is king not what format its on although I am gonna cut some dubs next week so that I can play a big chunk of my set just off vinyl without having to switch between the two constantly as it makes life easier - mixing between formats is wierd as vinyl is constantly slowing up/speeding down whilst digital is perfectly in time so even when you've got the speeds matched the timing can be a bit erratic, thats ok for live but not great for a studio mix

Don't get me wrong, I've always considered myself a 'vinyl purist'. If a tune is released on vinyl and digital I will buy the vinyl. I managed to get the CDJ cheap off a mate for 200 quid. I occasionally get sent tunes, and there is always loads of free tunes being given away on this forum that won't come out on vinyl, so it seemed like a good idea to add another aspect to my setup and mixtapes.
