On Thursday 11th March, London's The Scala is to be taken over by the dirty dozen: not Lee Marvin and fellow convicts, but creators of some of the most seminal dance anthems of all time. And all - appropriately enough, given that the night is dubbed 12x12 – will be playing music on 12-inch. It’s a truly massive line-up: Peter Hook, Martyn Ware, Arthur Baker, A Guy Called Gerald, Zinc, Jazzie B, MJ Cole, Robert Owens, Roni Size, Shades Of Rhythm, Shy FX & X-Press 2. All proceeds from the night go to the charity War Child.
