If you're totally unfamiliar with what the Red Bull Music Academy is:
Red Bull Music Academy is a global workshop series that traverses the world to share knowledge and dive deep into local music scenes. In 2010 it comes to London with a programme of 30 events, and two, two-week ‘terms’ for sixty of the brightest musical apprentices from across the globe.
In the midst of the London season, the Academy brings its spirit to Bristol to celebrate the rich sonic heritage and vibrant creativity of this cultural hub. With a weekend of music, talks and workshops from some of the best musicians, producers, industry heads and technicians from Bristol and beyond, the Academy hopes to navigate the city’s visionary past and enrich its musical future.
This is a free event and anyone can come along, whether you're a old master, a new starter, or just someone with an interest in how to get by as a creative. You may need to put your name down if workshops are over subscribed so please come along early to make sure you get a place.
