they don't exist.

your best off with sticking to chemical/redeye/boomkat/etc

prices for importing and selling have become to high for most shops to remain competative, not to mention that a majority of DJs don't play vinyl anymore.

edit: i guess i shouldn't say they dont exist, but by and large there are very very few places even stocking dubstep, but selection isn't typically that great imo.

Amoeba Records is probably the best real, physical shop for dubstep. I nearly cried at all the up-to-date dubstep Vinyls they had at the one in San Francisco, so i reckon the Berkeley and Hollywood stores are also packin the goods.

But then, this is only relevant if your on the west coast. I always end up ordering from Chemical and Redeye because theres not much in Portland for dubstep. Some, but not much.

Our shop sends out a weekly list of all the Dubstep titles coming out each week, From all the major suppliers all with descriptions and m3u streaming audio links, so you can listen to them easily before ordering. You just e mail us back what you want, and a week later we ship it to you. Almost all the 12"s are 10.99, and shipping is very cheap ($3-4 for media for up to 5 12"s)
e mail this guy and ask for the list: ryanorgan <AT> gmail.com

our regular website, with a mixture of stuff on it>> http://www.anthemrecordsinc.com

.......Oh, and we are based in Portland. Apparently the last guy who posted doesn't leave the house much.

Ah shit. Totally forgot about Anthem. I've still never been there, though I do like to leave the house.

I stand corrected.

We export plenty of records to the US each week. Contact one of our US distributors and they should be able to put you in touch with a shop in your area.

Gramaphone Records in Chicago has a nice dubstep section that's pretty up to date. their website doesn't do the physical store justice.

they also have an amazing used house section.

Which is in NYC, and Ameoba Records in LA, but I haven't even been there so Idk what type of records they stock. They're pretty much the big, iconic label of the west coast so I wouldn't doubt they have some dubplates.

to be fair to them, they have tried to do dubstep over the years, but at least at the NYC store, its not even one rack of vinyl that they're carrying. it might be different out at the LA store.
