Verbs probably to strong in places, as is the volume of the wobbleh.
Liking this a lot man. You're right about the wobble being a bit loud in places, easy fix though :D I think it'll be sick when its a bit further down the line.

kk, i posted this in a seperate thread, which i now know was wrong :)

just after a couple of pointers really.. been looking over a few forums and few seem to have as big of a production section as this site so i thought i would give here a go.

i have only uploaded a couple of songs onto my Soundcloud, an old one that sort of counts as dubstep and a new one that is abit of drum and bass.
I can't help but think that they sound 'corny', like all the different parts sound placed over each other instead of mixed together if you know what i mean.
I try not to use presets as i feel like its cheating, maybe thats my problem haha

i have only been seriously giving this production stuff a propper go for the last 6 or so months, but i dont feel as though i am progressing

well, if anyone has any feedback (not on the actual tracks, but how to make them sound more whole) it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nick.

P.S. sorry if its in the wrong section

Thanks man, reworked it some more, made the bassline better, the sub-bass comes in earlier. I'll check my song again on my monitors so I can EQ it properly.

Do you have any tracks which need some feedback on? :)

yeah zone, thats better already, at 1.30ish when the wobble comes in, try adjusting the volume envelope so it swells rather than drops and that will sound naughty
i got a few tunes on the go, none ready to render and send yet, but thanks anyways

This is a really nice start. At 20 the repeated drum hit is a bit machine-gun like at the moment. Try playing with the velocity of each hit and switching up the envelope very slightly to help make it sound more organic. Ideally use another, very similar sample for some of the repeats.

yeh i actually dropped the velocity of the drums at the beginning of the second part but only just read your comment after uploading the second edit, thanks for the feedback though will get on editing the drops now
