I know I haven't been on the board long, but I definitely have been actively involved in the scene. Talk to Joe Nice about BASSIC in Boston Thanks to everyone who emailed and messaged me. More public details to follow. It's about the music, after all!

Boston dubstep crew, BASSIC, (running the premiere and only dubstep monthly in Boston), is putting together a DJ swap with a Nashville, TN crew. It's simple: We go down and play their night, and in return, they play up here. We're covering gas/travel, as well as a cut of the door, and everyone will have a place to stay. I want this to be an ongoing thing between cities, using the name of the event (once it's been determined). I already have people in Nashville, Philly, and San Fran onboard to try a swap. It's a showcase of the dubstep DJ talent from outside your city. Each city's flavor coming to rep it, with your city's crowd. I feel like the dubstep focus has gone towards the producer, (I'm a producer, so I am not biased), and how much fun would it be to travel with your crew to a new city and kill it for a night? This is what we've already started, and anyone else that wants to be a part of this is more than welcome.
