Just finished this one for a remix contest! I'm mixing on stereo speakers, so let me know if anything is sounding shittay.
the tune sounds nice, not a fan of these bass sounds though. Speaking of bass... where is the sub? There's hardly any low...
I listnen on studiomonitors btw.. If you don't have acces to studio monitors, use a freq analyser to check your low end. I think you will
notice there's hardly any low end.

Big up though!
Where's your subwoofer? 'cos there definately is low bass in there. It's barely audible, but shakes my floor when I play it. Way to go Bassmagnet!

Thanks guys! Yea I am mixing on stereo speakers hehe. And to tell you the truth, I have always mixed on stereo speakers and wouldn't even know what the analyzer should look like with the sub at the right level >.< any hints? I guess I could try and throw a song by excision in hehe

big samples to start with and on the drop too. the drums are and bassline are both nice but could be a bit more experimental if you get me - i feel like ive heard those doens of times before. the variation overall is spot on, but i think that vocal sample is rinsed a bit. should take it out for a few bars a let the bassline sit, well i would anyway. the second drop is sick and like i said the variation is sick. its listenable, would go well in the club, good work. :D

@ phantom badger
the synth on the intro is nice but i think its a bit too panned to the left. i love the way the melody builds and the drop is nice, think the sub needs bringing up a tiny bit if im being really picky. i like the break down of the drums at 1.22. despite you working the melody very well and variating it alot, i still think a few background pads here and there wont hurt, to add a bit more depth to it. like the outro too, well done.

you've got quite a strange and interesting style, nothing really clicks from the mix, but keep at it and one eventually will.

pretty standard, the way youve put reverb on some of the sounds is quite intresting

1st one, doesnt sound developed enough, and mostly simplistic

2nd one, again quite simplistic, way youve done the guiro + drums is quite sick though

Both tracks are cool for the style. Nice drum work. Not simple tracks but not a whole lot going on

OK

0.00 - 0.15 Cool arpegiating kinda synth, nice hats
0.16 - 0.40 Change the beat a bit, and the Snare sample
0.40 - 1.01 Build up is cool
1.02 - 1.29 This is more like it now, that riff was sweet
1.30 - 2.30 You lost it here man, You need to keep that riff from before, Theres too much of a change here, it needs to more melodic, Relying too much on the wobble, theres no real melody, No Hook, Its boring
3.41 - 4.00 This is the kinda hook you want, You need to build that up and make a song around that!

Overall Theres parts that have potential so I wouldn't delete it just re structure it and get a bit more bassy! The ways it put together at the moment is just boring but parts do have potential. Keep working on it

You got the beats spot on but I'm not feeling it, the 2 songs don't really go!
The beat matching is perfect though

Soundcloud

Thank you..

0.00 - 0.22 This is sounding cool
0.22 - 1.03 Cool like the bassline
1.05 - 1.34 I'd get rid of that Fruity Loops ride But this breakdown is great
1.49 - 2.19 Nice Change Here

Overall - Cool track, could still be a bit heavier and I'd get rid of that rhythm on the Ride, I really like the Pad sound at the end though :)

What you think of this one

CHEERS!
Welcome

Cool Rhythms to start with, i like those wistley Cird like noises, Very tribal Jah Feel to it!
Need to toughen up that Bass Drum...
Pure Chilling song, Not what I was expecting
Wobble is bang on! Perfect
Love how its constantly changing
Breakdown after 2.14 is really cool and needed!
Work on the structure a bit. over 5 mins for a song like this is really long, hard to keep the interest, but with a re structure it would be a really cool tune!
