yeah man looking at something really specific like a sample i have which im using in a song. I want to have the sample for the start then bring in the drums etc but still have the feel of the start sample with the spatial image of the reverb of that sample on the syntn not just having any impulse convolution reverb whatever it is.Depone wrote:load these into your reverbsmy_fickle_eye wrote:d'ohdjake wrote:as in an impluse reverb?

And yeah they are called inpulse responses.
This sounds like a really good idea not sure how to word it but i really want to get the stereo spatial image of a sample of the sea i found, do you know any plug ins i can use for cubase on windows that would get the effect you are talking about. Its not just the whole record every frequency and its a reverb job but i mean liturally the spatial image, like when you record a sample of ambient noise but things come at your in different directions when you play it back. I want to get that effect from a plan mono synth i have.Wrigzilla wrote:You're talking about convolution reverb, which use impulse responses to generate a reverb which behaves like the room that the impulse response was recorded in. Now I'm running Logic so I don't know about convolution reverb plugins except space designer but in space designer you can load in any wav/aiff file as your impulse response and you can get some interesting results using non impulse response files.
DX7 heaven sounds rad by the wayDepone wrote:load these into your reverbsmy_fickle_eye wrote:d'ohdjake wrote:as in an impluse reverb?
