hahahaha, funny shit. Great track. Some kick slide would be cool, it gets a little repetitive.
glad u like the silly sample haha. I'm sorry if I'm being a total dumbass but what do you mean by "kick slide"?

I would love to hear those hits what come in at like 1:25 extended more and the other stuff taken out, it'll sound more "vex'd" esque and give the track a more darker and haunting feel, at the moment I feel this tracks just trying to be a bit weird and isn't got a "play-out" flow (at least for myself) it starts and stops to much.. I would work on making it a track instead of just some chops of weird and interesting sounds.
To be honest I would've carried on with the way it started at 1:25 to but that's the thing with working with other people, you can't just always do what you want so that's how it evolved. The stops & starts were intentional to make it as hype as possible and it had the exact desired effect when we played it on friday but I do totally understand where you're coming from and can see how it could just be annoying if your not into that. Thanks for taking the time to listen and the comments are really appreciated, I can't really see us updating this track at all but what you have said will definitely be bared in mind with future tracks!

Apologies for not commenting on anyone elses' tracks yet, I can't listen to sound at work but will check them out when I'm at home ;)

this is a badman tune

not much constructive criticism i can offer here

everything works together well, and the transition from the half with that dark growly synth to that other one (can't really describe it) is lovely

mixdown sounds top notch aswell, although i think the high pianos are a touch too loud

any chance of a 320? :D
thanks for the comments man and i feel you about the piano part, I've ot both parts on the same track so I'm gonna go back and put them on two different ones.

listened to your tune and it's right up my alley - nice and chilled with the fat sub, one thing i'd like to hear is some reverb on delay on your drums, especially your snare. to me, it's lacking life and could be a bit more airy, other than that - nice work!

Beautiful piece of music. That really subtle wobble bass thingie is just awesome imo !
but altho i like this track alot i fear that if i listen to it everyday i would get bored with it in a week or so (but i have this with most tracks :) )

I mean, slide the kick in pitch or even drop it a few notes for a few beats. In some sections the kick is really driving the song and hearing the same exact note played 30 times with no variation can be repetitive. Small gripe, no doubt, the track is great.

@ lucky cat - paxton express, i like the overall feel of the track, but i'm not sure about the weird kinda hoover sound startin after 2,14, i think it may be a bit too harsh, but that could just be my taste

@ mistayif - siotrallets , i really dig your track, its well written, but i know what you mean about not liking it anymore after a few listens, i feel its lacking something, maybe adding some more variations would do the trick, or something else to underline the melody. btw you sampled cinematic orchestra didnt you ? :D

@ continuumdnb - refidget, i like the way u used the vocal samples, makes me think of phaeleh tracks, but like the others who left feedback on your track, i feel the drums could be louder in the mix and the piano stabs could be less present, maybe by adding reverb and eqing some frequencies out

then again, i'm no expert, so just opinions... this said, if anyone wanna check mine (its not dubstep tho)

Really digging the atmosphere in this track, but something tells me it may work better if you juxtaposition the ambient vibe with something a bit different (maybe a bit heavier or maybe just something with some thicker synths to give it a bit of variation) But otherwise works really well as a chilled track.!!

Like the synths in this track, but they could do with another layer of maybe the same thing but a lower frequency or or a different sound eq'd to give it a fatter sound :) nice work though.

Hey man, I really like this tune.. got a wicked vibe? Is that a sneaky cinematic orchestra sample in there?.. Maybe needs to evolve over time, I think something needs to be introduced or have an instrumental break way from the drums.. it's all a bit linear at the moment.. like where it's heading though man,.x

mate, fair play to you with this one.. the intro is funny man!..the production is sounding tidy as well man, might be worth looking to see if you can cut a hole for the kick, it gets a little buried under the bass.. other than that good skills man.x

cheers for all the comments, glad your all feeling the track 8)

i definately agree with your comments that the track is lacking something but i'm not really sure what it is so i'm just gonna leave it like this for the time being. when i do figure it out, i'll do a vip refix of it

once again, cheers for all the feedback, don't matter whether its good or bad their all much appreciated

Sorry, i know soundcloud is the norm here... (i do have one) buuuut, i want you guys to give me sum feedback on this:

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/307759

The drums/percussion is a little weak in my opinion, as I focused more on the melody and progression of the track - but, anyway i'd like ot know what you think...

@ suckabeat: i love the intro to the tune

i think the drop to it can be slightly heavier, just bring out the kick slightly

i think the minimal drums really suit the track although the top half (frequency wise) of the track still sounds a bit empty, maybe a subtle hihat pattern to fill in the space?

i know its the central focus of your track but i think that guitar is just a tad too loud

great track to chill to though
